I can not cast to my Sonos as mentioned that I should be able to here:
And no I do not have remote access as it just will not work with my setup to the internet which you can read about here:
So how to I trick my Plex so that it connects direct?

Wow, that’s quite the network setup. So you’re buddy has the internet connection, you’re connecting to it with the NanoStation, then have your own network behind the TP-Link router? You mentioned that the Shield is connected to the Linksys running DD-WRT…is that only being used as a switch, or is anything connected to the WAN of the Linksys?
I’m not familiar with the Loco M2 - it is just a Wifi to ethernet bridge?
From your description is this about what we’re looking at?
Internet -> (QPCOM Router -> Orbi / M2 LAN) -> (C1200 -> Shield)
I’m assuming that the M2 is just a bridge which would put the WAN IP of the C1200 on your buddy’s LAN, and that the Shield is on your LAN behind the C1200 and that the DD-WRT router is acting as a dumb AP instead of a router. If that’s the case, and your buddy’s router is the public IP, then you’ve got a typical double-NAT situation. If you’re using the default port 32400 you’d need to setup the following:
Those steps are making some assumptions. Let me know if they’re wrong or if this helps.
Thank you John for the suggestions. I managed to get into my friends place and I took the QPCOM Router out of the equation as it was picking up an IP from the antenna feed. So now Orbi is the main router but it uses a 10.0.0.# range. The Orbi is picking up a 192.168.100.# from the Antenna feed which seems to use a 192.168.100.# as the DHCP server and default gateway. I can’t gain access to the antenna to see what it is doing.
On the Orbi it will not let me port forward a 192.168.#.# which is what my C1200 uses, only 10.0.0.# address can be added. My M2 is picking up a 10.0.0.# from the Orbi. Should I port forward the 32400 on the Orbi to 10.0.0.5 and then on the M2 Port forward 32400 to my 192.168.1.# of my C1200 and then on my C1200 port forward 32400 to my Shield?
Perhaps I am not setting up the port forwards correctly?
I may have missed this from the other thread but what is the Antenna feed? Is that the internet connection from the ISP? Is the 192.168.100.38 address the WAN side of the Orbi? If that’s the WAN of the Orbi then the ISP may be NAT-ing the connection, and would have to open a port from a public IP to the Orbi’s WAN.
Excellent, that’s what I would expect, for the M2 to show up on the Orbi’s LAN. Do you have the M2 configured as a station in bridge mode? If not, it should be, and then the output from the M2 should go into the WAN of the C1200, which would then also pick up a 10.0.0.X IP address. The M2 should be transparent as far as any port forwarding is concerned.
So it sounds like you want to make sure what I described is setup, and then you’d forward port 32400 in the Orbi to the IP of the C1200 WAN IP, and then in the C1200 forward port 32400 to the Shield.
Also, what is the second screenshot you posted of?
That is the port forwarding page in the Loco M2
“Antenna feed” Correct it ISP. Here in Jardin Colombia there are not a lot of options for internet, especially if you live just outside the small town, so most use a local ISP service that has antennas installed along the mountain ridge which beams 4G (or something like it) to everyone’s antennas at there homes. When I saw the QPCOM router was just picking up an normal IP address I knew that they never should have installed it as it was just a waste of power and another break point. The Orbi is a mesh network and he has 4 scattered around as the construction here in Rebar and cement and blocks.
The M2 is setup as “Network Mode: Router” the choices are “Bridge, Router, SOHO Router” I have tried “Bridge” mode before but ran into all kinds of problems with the M2 in that mode and also end up going back to “Router”. The “Wireless Mode” of the M2 is set to “Station”. Under “Wireless Mode” there are also 3 choices, “Station”, “Access Point” and " AP Repeater". Which settings would you like me to try?
As for the 192.168.100.38, yes that is the WAN side of the Orbi. I was able to get PMS on my laptop to get “Remote Access” when connected directly to his Orbi and bypassing my entire home network and the M2 so I am thinking IPS is not NAT-ing that connection?
