Seeing if anyone else is seeing this issue still? It has been a couple years since it was first reported on the forum and most of the topics I see are closed without resolution.
Friends remote to the server are using android devices to cast to a Chromecast Ultra, it then works but fails to show up in Dashboard, bandwidth management seems to not apply at that point.
I went to their house and recreated with my own app, no record in Plex, therefore no record in Tautulli.
I can also recreate by streaming direct with plex token and key through home assistant, I believe this is what the ChromeCast is also doing.
Plex employees claimed this was being fixed but I’ve never see resolution, no acknowledgement that the issue is still around.
