I run a youth media program and I want to add the videos to my plex library. I would like to cataloging and search them based on Student, Year, Genre. Sometimes there are more than one student as director.
How to I classify this information and add this library? I think I understand the library part. I’ve already added one in my media server. I must have added a movie library. BUt how do I now get the movie info into the system?

As of right now, metadata editing is not possible. I think I remember hearing that this is one of the first things on the table once major bugs are squashed.
In the meantime, I believe that you could use one of the applications that lets you create xbmc-style nfo documents, and then use the nfo agent to get that information into Plex.
Thanks for the update. What would be an example of a program that would allow me to do that?
