Certain videos won't play with AVR

Hoping to get some help.

Current setup is Plex server running on Synology DS920+, Plex client running on an Nvidia Shield Pro, hooked into Denon AV4500H.

2160p videos with Dolby Atmos/Dolby Digital Plus+/Dolby Surround/TrueHD/5.1/7.1 audio run flawlessly. Previously, sound was buffering like crazy but turned out the Nvidia Shield was the missing piece of the puzzle and it’s been flawless ever since.

That is, until I decided to watch a particular franchise of movies. They must have a certain audio that something somewhere is struggling with, because when I play it, it will buffer forever and won’t even get off the ground.

I can get it working if I turn my AVR off, and run the audio from the TV rather than my AVR and sound system. It also works on the Plex iOS client - so I believe the common denominator is my AVR.

What logs do I need from Plex to determine what is going wrong here? Everything is on latest version/firmware. Is it even Plex I need to look at?

What can I do to pinpoint this issue? Is it Plex logs I need to look at? If so, how?
