I see release version 1.19.2.2737 fixes the issue of the web client erroneously show it as offline (#11449) however being behind a CGNAT I’m not expecting it to fix this message for me.
Everything I’ve read on the forums here suggest if you are behind a CGNAT remote access will not work, and ringing the provider to opt out. paying for static IP or using VPN are solutions. However it does seem to work for me, it can be accessed remotely, have tested on my phone 4G and via a friend whom I have shared my Libraries with. It has a message of ‘indirect’ though when playing to a remote device, is that normal? And if so how come it works, and for others it doesn’t?
I’m curious if there is a benefit to opting out of CGNAT other than getting rid of the double NAT/no remote access message from Plex Web? I can also get to my Synology NAS from outside my network via their QuickConnect, so it doesn’t block me there either.
