How do I change a HDHomerun recording resolution from 720 down to 480?

Would this be the same if I wanted 1080 over 720?
You can request to record just from SD channels, but the DVR function itself just records whatever the tuner spits out. You’re certainly able to transcode it afterwards, but if the content is only available in HD that’s what it will start out with.
