Hello.

Changing ISP’s and want to change the email linked to my plex pass (lifetime) acct.

When I try and change it to my gmail I get ‘Email has already been taken’ - I logged in to that account and deleted it but still get the ‘still exists’ error and now cant log on to that account. I can’t wait 31 days as I’m changing ISP’s next week and wont have access to my old email and am worried I’ll need to confirm a link I wont be able to access.

When I try and change it to my hotmail - I get ‘An unknown error occurred’

Any advice pls? Thanks in advance.

Just add +something to the account email and gmail will still send it to you. That is how they do an alias. then in a month when the account you deleted it completely purged you can remove that bit of you want.

Like if your real gmail is JohnDoe@gmail.com then change it on account to JohnDoe+plex@gmail.com or something.

any emails to JohnDoe+plex@gmail.com will still go to JohnDoe@gmail.com
