Change Kbps music quality for cellular not working

Plexamp 3.7.1 for iOS
I change cellular music quality from 128 Kbps to 192 Kbps but the player still show Opus at 128 Kbps playback.

Perhaps it’s already cached at the Opus quality?

I have try with all the cellular music quality and before every change I delete the caches and I can play in 64 Kbps, 96 Kbps, and 128 Kbps but it doesn’t play higher than 128 Kbps.

Delete caches, set quality high, play the item, and post logs.

Here is the logs, most of the songs I play are Flac and I use 320 Kbps and 1 Mbps settings and most of the songs play at 128 Kbps.

Just looking at some recent plays, it looks like your quality setting for cellular is 192 kbps; network type below is Cellular = 1, WiFi = 2.

That’s the quality I want 192 kbps but it never play at that quality or maybe it’s playing in 192 kbps but Plexamp show it as 128 Kbps.
Sorry I don’t know what you mean by “network type below is Cellular = 1, WiFi = 2”.

you’re misunderstanding the quality setting. the 192 kbps is the cutoff above which it converts.

if you’re trying to change the quality at which the conversion is performed, that is a setting in advanced > conversion bitrate. we don’t recommend changing it because Opus is transparent at 129 kbps and raising the quality level is just a waste of bits.
