Same here, see the issue on iOS on both an iPad Air 4th Generation and an iPhone 16 Pro. Playback speed changes in the browser work fine (same devices, Firefox mobile). Also tested on desktop and no issues. I tried turning “Allow Direct Play” off in the Video and Audio settings and nothing changed. I have paid for a plex pass and IN MY OWN HOME, I cannot change the playback speed of videos on my iOS devices (phone 13, iPad Air 4th gen). This just started happening this week Feb 18, 2026. I have in the past been able to do this. My plex server is on a Synology NAS.

Same here, it used to work just fine until the last app update. Still works if playing from the web browser.

When I do, it just freezes and you can hear the audio playing back at a tremendously slow rate. When I change back to ‘normal’ it still remains in this stuck mode.
