I plan to create a dedicated controller in kitchen to act as a controller for the various plex clients I’ve got around the house. Does RasPlex have support for external players (such as Chromecast Audios or devices which are being advertised as a player), similar to the android mobile app?
Rasplex can act as a ‘Receiver App’, and can be controlled by any of the various Plex Apps which act as a Controller.

If you put a tablet on the wall in your kitchen, with the Android Plex app on it, you are able to ‘cast’ content to Rasplex.
Rasplex itself cannot act as a ‘controller’.
