Changed password, reclaimed servers but no access

Server Version#: 1.28.2.6106 (64 bit) / 1.28.2.6103 / 1.28.2.6103
Player Version#:4.87.2

I reset my password through the web app and signed out of all apps and devices in the process. Reclaimed my 3 servers (one local and two remote through SSH tunnels).

If I log in using local network access http://192.168.0.23:32400/web/index.html#!/ for my windows server or the appropriate SSH tunnels 127.0.0.1:xxxxx ports I can see all 3 of my servers.

If I try to access through app.plex.tv everything is offline.

Any guidance?

Bump. Guess I need a cert reset? Or at least a hint? Please?

Having the same issue, seems to be an issue with Plex providing a certificate to the local server.

I’ve discovered I do have access through the Roku app on my tv and Plexamp. But the regular Plex app 8.7.3 on my iPad won’t connect either.

Just would be nice to have some replies from Plex themselves instead of their massive silence.

EDIT 09:50CDT The two remote servers have started appearing now in app.plex.tv but my local server on the same network and computer is still absent.

Same issue here, working through browser on server host computer (Windows), but multiple tv’s (Samsung/LG/Apple TV), iOS devices won’t log in. I’m seeing various issues, either they link up, and the media isn’t displayed (Apple TV), or the link code keeps expiring on the tv, but it also says it has successfully linked on the Link | Plex page, queue endless refresh/expire loop. Or, in the case of my iPhone app, the authenticator input takes ages to process, eventually accepts it and then loads the login in credentials screen again!?

This is driving me mental.

I got the same problem. Signed in and reclaimed the server. Was able to sign in on Windows and Anroid app. However, can’t link my TV anymore, plex.tv/link says “Device Linked” but on TV it keeps saying “Code expired”, in a never-ending loop.

Also changed password and signed out of all devices - no access to anything!

Same here. Changed my PLEX password due to plex getting hacked. Reclaimed my server. Cannot get my plex preview app on roku to online. Even removed it from authorized devices. Nothing.

Is PLEX overwhelmed with authentications due to the hack/everyone changing their passwords?

PLEX support staff. We’d all like guidance. While we all appreciate you doing the right thing and notifying us of the hack, you need to have a WORKING process in-place to get us all back up and online.

Guidance please.

Update:

I successfully got all my devices to sign in and access the media on my server. I just kept trying, and eventually, it worked. Hopefully, others will see the problem resolved also.

I followed the instructions https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/ for my Windows server (except I didn’t have a " PlexOnlineHome" setting in my Registry). Signed in again, reclaimed the server and still no joy on seeing it from within app.plex.tv. Started up the Plex Dash app on my iPad and watched the Server Logs.

I think mine is definitely a cert issue:

Guess I’ll (im)patiently wait for someone from Plex to get to this thread seeing as some do seem to be getting their certs reset as needed.
