Currently I am using a Google login on my Lifetime account. This is giving me grief in that plexamp installation attempts on a mobile device fail. It insists on an email login. Trying to continue with ‘browser’ causes the log in attempt to freeze.
I’m de-googling anyway so would be pleased to change to a traditional username/password login on plex.tv, but when I click edit email in my profile nothing happens.
Any help?
You need to add a regular password first in the password section of the account page

On Plexamp / Android “The user could not be authenticated”
On my PMS (Linux) - “The user name or password is incorrect”
On plex.tv front end “The user name or password is incorrect”
No password recovery options either.
I’m still logged in here. Loathe to log out just in case everything turn to shyte.
You should not need to log out of anything. The token shouldn’t just because you added a password. Is it still not letting you sign into the other apps?
