Changing from Plex Cloud to local drive on my PC

Hi Otto,

Just to test that the problem of signing in is not related to my username, I registered with another username & purchased 1 month Plex Pass. I had the same problem.

Do you mind looking at my latest log to see if you can see anything showing errors etc.

Thanks

Mike

Could you please disable one of the network adapters of your server?
(if one is wireless, disable this one)

This what I see on Network on Server

I don’t see where there the network adapter is

I was not referring to Plex, but to your server machine in general.
There are 2 active network connections on it. (same network address range, so I assume it is a ‘wireless’ and a ‘wired’ connection. Am I assuming right ?)
Plex cannot handle more than one network connection.

What type of machine is it? Is it a laptop? Or a desktop computer? Something else?

I have TP-Link wifi boosters for Android box etc. connected to my router.

I have diconnected the wifi on my laptop

Here is the latest log after I have turned off one of the networks, hopefully you see only one network

Hi

Have been discussing the issue with @OttoKerner
Could we concentrate not on the server but the web client app login.

Could you for a moment switch to Google Chrome if you have not done already
Then we can test login to the plex.tv web site with Chrome Dev Console logging and capture the login sequence into a har file

  • Download and Install Google Chrome
  • Launch Google Chrome
  • Open the Chrome Dev Console (F12 key or through Chrome Settings / More Tools / Developer Tools)
  • Clicj on the Network in the first row in the Dev Tools view
  • In the 2nd row below Network and Performace you will see a Preserve Log tickbox. Please tick it
  • In the browser url field, type in ple.tv/web
  • If it is already signed in, sign out
  • go through sign in and continue with email option
  • when you get the error to sign in, take a screenshot and note down the time
  • In the Dev console window you would have seen alot of requests scroll through as you signed in
  • Right click within the space within the Dev Tools window and you should see an option to Save as Har with content. Select this option and save all the log into a .har file
  • Zip the har file and send it by Private Message to me together with screenshot and time of errro (the har file will include passwords - so only send privately

Could you also save the certiticate information for the plex.tv site on that screen (right click on the padlock next to the url) and click on certficate and get all the detail

Hi sa2000,

Did you get my file via message
