Changing Playback Speed resets progress

Why on Earth changing the playback speed resets the video progress to 0???
Every single time I want to change the speed I need to memorize where was I in the movie/show to come back to it after the change. This behaviour is extremely annoying.

Same issue; I noticed replying keeps the post open so Plex sees it.
