I have language set to norwegian for my library of norwegian shows, but lately, plex seems to overrun titles in my library.
Is this plex or thetvdb’s doing?

Even when changing matching agents, this happens. Language is set to norwegian.

Do the respective entries have norwegian metadata?
They were matched with norwegian titles before this started happening, so I would assume so.
I even swapped between moviedb and thetvdb to see if the problem could be with the matching agent, but no changes to titles were made, and titles continued being changed to english title when new content was added

And is “localized titles” checked in advanced setting of the library?
Latest: “Ja, Vi elsker camping” started season 4, when I added those episodes, and scanned library to have them added, it changed to “Yes, We love camping”.
I can’t seem to find “localized titles”, although I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it somewhere before. Where exactly do I find this option? I looked in library settings for specific library, and in settings -> library
Localized titles only appear for movies, under edit library → advanced.
So for your TV Show, probably only the language of the library is decisive. If this is set to norwegian, I don’t know where the mistake is…

Did you accidentally tell Chrome or whatever browser you have, to translate norwegian to english?! 
Yes, that’s the one.
Before answering, I double and triple-checked. Title is the same in Brave browser, Chrome, and on plex app on my phone.
Come to think of it, that couldn’t have been the issue anyways, as I’ve manually changed some of these titles back to the norwegian title, and those fields couldn’t have been affected by browser translation.
Just asking, because neither thetvdb nor themoviedb have an english title for this show. Plex doesn’t make meta-data up itself, it has to come from somewhere.
Plot for the show is also in english, but episode descriptions are in norwegian, so only main title and plot for series are changed it seems.
It does seem odd, I agree.
I can also report that I’ve talked to another local person who has a plex server, and he has experienced the same issue as I’m reporting here, so that at least points towards this being a plex issue and not a local server issue.

Probably not, you should not have an agent for it.
Do me a favour and post the xml information for one of your episodes of that show.
At episode level -> three dots on the upper right -> get info -> view xml.

I changed the title manually on “Yes we love camping”, so that is reflected in the XML.
However, here is another one (Original title: Side om side, plex desirede title: Side by side)
edit: hmm, forums wont let me paste XML.
Boligjakten switched to “Location, Location, Location (NO)”.
What is this sorcery, plex? It is not in settings, nor is it prefered to have the native titles overwritten.
I have a feeling this is related to the recent changes at the TVDB. You have your library lang set to Norwegian so that is all you should need to do.
I can reproduce and am writing up a bug report.
