More than likely u have setup Plex under a different user account. You have to find the correct database. Go to c:\users and search for the database name. Make sure you turn on “show hidden files and folders” in windows.
I have same problem.
It is the ID & scan frequency etc that are wrong.
Fks for me having: DVB-C, Denmark, Provider: PARKNET they have to be these settings:
Network ID 100
Scanfrekvens: 450 MHz eller 450000 kHz
Modulation QAM 64
Symbolrate 6875
The problem is that the default settings are wrong and that it is not possible in plex to type manually the correct settings. PLEASE PLEX make it possible to type these settings manually
I’m having similar problems to gott18, getting that error message. I’m the only user account on the PC so the database is definitely in the correct folder, and as mentioned, I can’t move the file while the tool is open. Is there another issue at play?
Yup, I’ve tried using that directory, and the C: root, also on my desktop but all are having the same issue.
I did originally open my database to find the xml file manually, while following another guide. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the tool I was using but the channel xml seems to just stop at one point - loads of channels are missing as if half the file had been deleted halfway through.
I’m currently rescanning to try again but otherwise I’m not sure what to do
I’ve opened up my newly created xml and it doesn’t have the issue I mentioned before - however it looks like channels are just completely missing (e.g. Dave is not present but Dave ja vu is).
This looks like it might not be a database issue? I am fairly new to understanding this so correct me if I’m wrong
This fix do not work on my NAS :

Attempting to connect to: /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases/com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
Database not in default location
Please type the full path to com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
I did have to shut down the Plex Server to run the Channel Fixer, but it worked great.
All of the channels now appear and I was able to complete the assignments properly.
Thank you
