I’m using HDHomerun and trying to record a show on TBS. I have several other recordings and they all record fine and at the right time. I also play other channels live and the content at the time is correct. However, TBS is seen by the Plex guide as airing a show at 12:00am but actually airs at 10:30pm. I have read about time zone and daylights savings issue, this is not that. Again, all other recordings are fine and the guide is correct except for TBS. My NAS, TV and time displayed on Plex are correct, HDHomerun app shows schedule is 10:30pm but Plex shows as 12:00am. I have updated the guide and the issue remains. Help is appreciated, I am not a tech savvy user.
The reason this occurred is due to the setup of the DVR. I had selected an alternate source than HDHomeRun as the guide input. However, the new issue is that when I do select HDHomeRun guide, it does not import the OTA stations, only the premium. It would appear I need another tuner, one for OTA and the other for premium, but I know other services import both off one tuner.
As you just noticed you can only select one guide at a time, regardless of how many tuners you have. If you can’t match up all the channels using a cable guide then your only alternative is to generate your own guide.
How do you generate your own guide? It only allows you to start with a base pre-selected input of various providers. Sure you can customize from one of them but the channels will be off and that was my original problem. For example if I select Cox as the source for the guide it matches 98% but the 2%, the channel lineups for show times are different.
