Chapters aren't being recongised

Server Version#: 1.15.5.994

Chapters aren’t getting recognised by Plex. This is an output file (.EDL) from MCEBuddy but this was working previously on other files. Not sure how long ago it stopped working, but was working perfectly previously.

Tried Analyze

Also tried -

  1. Removing the files from the library
  2. Scan Library Files
  3. Optimize Database
  4. Clean Bundles
  5. Empty Trash
  6. Moved the files back in
  7. Scan Library Files

Still nothing showing up.

Plex can only read chapters from mp4 and MKV files.
Edl files are not supported at all.

That’s what must have changed, my bad (the output format). Even as an MKV, Plex still isn’t recognising chapters :thinking:

VLC is showing chapters for the file so they 100% are included in the file.

@OttoKerner - There really is a genuine problem with chapters on version 1.15.5.994

Just done another recording, converted to MKV and Plex still isn’t showing the chapters. As @axemanuk666 said, it seems to be an issue.
