Is there any support for chapters? I’ve tried a couple of different movies which I know have chapters, in both the web player and the Android player… but didn’t see anything for chapter support.
If there is support for chapters, what will it look like in the U.I.? Which U.I.'s support it? Etc.

Chapters are coming (slowly). The iOS app supports them already.
In the web app: If a movie has chapters, you can at least jump to the chapter markers using the ‘step forward/backward’ hotkeys.
[ or alt + ← Step Backward ] or alt + → Step Forward
(you may need to enable hotkeys first under Settings - Web - General)

Well, I see that you can step 10 mins forward or backward, but those hotkeys do not jump to chapter markers for me. Is this a plex pass feature only right now?
You may have to use the hosted version of the web app, instead of the local one. This feature is brand new.

Chapters work just fine in PHT, you need to be direct playing though. If the stream is touched in anyway the chapters are stripped and it won’t work.

Is there a UI element that makes the chapters visible, or are you referring to the keyboard shortcut that jumps chapters (only useful if you know you actually have chapters)?
Not really sure, I use a remote and just hit the next chapter button (all of my media also has chapters, so nothing to compare against). Excited for broader support of chapters as well though via other clients.
The current chapter support in PHT is only “accidentally” there due to its XBMC roots.

Indeed, this is definitely the case. Which is why it will only work on an unaltered stream as well. 
Looks like chapters are still not available in the webapp? :’(

Okay why does Plex Media Player STILL not have chapter support where I can see chapters and titles? How is it that the Roku and PS4 apps have it, but not PMP which should be much more fully featured than those others I mentioned. Please get this added!

EDIT: Actually nope, this is something else. Apparently Plex Server is still having the problem of not grabbing chapters from newly added movies. This was supposed to be fixed but the files I was testing I added today. I checked older files and I have chapters on those.

It appears it was fixed about a month ago, and has come back again. I did not know this. UGH.
EDIT: Anyways sorry to bump this topic everyone. At least some people may now find out why their chapters ain’t working on newly added movies.
Chapters were definitely fixed a few versions ago, and then version 1.15.5.994 broke it again. You will need to backdate to version 1.15.5.993 to get chapters working again.
Oh yep already did that once I re-checked the original thread I had linked. It just never occurred to me we’d have a sever regression for this feature so soon after they fixed it.
