I’ve got a cheap, but generally functional, projector I use for a number of things and today I wanted to rewatch some old show while working. This projector only has a few “apps” native to the platform (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon) and the rest are in an “app store” called netrange - which I’ve never heard of before or since. Netrange appears to be a web-based store that ‘streams in’ the app in question before loading it. There’s no installing from this store.
Regardless, the app works (to a point) and I’m able to log in and load my familiar interface. Then I browse to my TV show, get the theme music (because I like it that way - don’t judge) and select an episode to begin… then a generic playback error appears.
Only two entries showing an error are:
Unable to find client profile for device; platform=netrange, platformVersion=Unknown, device=Generic - netrange, model=Gecko

This second one repeats about every 4 minutes (yeah, yeah, I know it should).
It’s the first line that is causing me pause. This is a glorified Plex Web (AFAIK), why is there a problem with the client identification? Or better yet, why does my Plex Server even care?
It has a web browser (of sorts) that I’ve tried to use to access plex.tv/web directly, but it doesn’t load. The browser self-identifies as “Open Browser” but I’ve never heard of it. Any thoughts for a man who just wants a little background noise?
P.S. - Dear mods, if this has been posted in the wrong forum/thread, please feel free to move it with my blessing.
