No matter what setting I use, I get extremely poor video performance on my Xbox 360 when playing DVR-MS files. It feels like Plex is not doing any transcoding at all because I don’t see any CPU utilization spikes when I start playing a movie. On the other hand, TVersity video is perfect, but I prefer Plex because I have an iPad client and a Windows Phone 7 client. When I play from TVersity I can see how the transcoding increases CPU utilization on the server, but not when I use Plex. Any suggestions?
