Hi!
In some cases I have multiple versions of the same file, e.g. both SD and HD versions, both .mp4 and .mkv, etc. Only certain file types will play on the Apple TV, while other platforms will play a wider range of file types.
My question is: Is it possible to make Apple TV play only certain file types? Or choose which version to play when starting a movie from the Apple TV?
As of now it looks like ATV doesn't know what file types it accepts and not, so when I try to open up a movie on the Apple TV it will output an error message. This happens even though the movie is available both in a format ATV accepts and in a format it doesn't accept.
