Using the Chrome App to launch plex and watch in fullscreen will not hide the cursor. When opening from the same browser but in a normal window it works. That is the cursor is a finger while hovering on the video which disappears after a few seconds. In the ChromeApp the cursor remains a cursor never hiding. Tested on MacOSX.
I'm getting this too. In the Plex Chrome app when I switch a video to fullscreen, the mouse cursor never disappears and the seek bar pops up randomly several times per minute as if the mouse was moving. This happens on multiple PCs, and does not happen using plexapp.com/web or localhost:32400/web, which appears to be using a different player (orange seek bar vs. white seek bar in the Chrome app). Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix, and if not, is there a way to force the Chrome app to use the other player?
I had this happen to me for a bit. I ended up uninstalling everything and refreshing my pc and now the controls go away. The cursor will stay, but if you drag it to the side they both disappear.
I'm getting the same thing in Chrome using the experimental player. The video controls don't fade after there's no activity for a few seconds (which I'm guessing is keeping the cursor from hiding - or vice-a-versa).
I'm on Windows 7 and I have a multiple monitor setup. I'm finding that the controls and cursor are getting hidden on the "primary display", while it doesn't on any other display.

A workaround I found is to install the Plex Chrome App. The chrom app seems to use a different player than the web version. This Is how I got around the issue at least...hope this helps someone.
