Chromecast constantly buffering within local connection

Hi all,

I’m pretty confident with the WiFi connection I have at home - both the strength and speed (supporting up to WiFi 7). Plex runs fine locally on my PC and my Sony TV, however, whenever I try streaming from my Chromecast it is always constantly buffering so it is not watchable. I’ve tried to tweak a few settings here and there but it’s the same result.

Any suggestions? This is getting quite annoying.
