Hello, have the New Chromecast with Google TV (who came up with that name?).
In files with AAC 5.1 or 7.1 audio the Plex app is playing back in stereo pcm, but if I ‘cast’ to the device from my iPhone it converts these to DD+ preserving the original channel separation.
Can you to make this the default behaviour on the app please? I can’t find a setting to achieve this.
Ps both methods are by direct play ( no transcoding).
