chromecast is great if you have a tablet to control the TV with.
I was wondering, I would like to use chromecast and plex with someone who does not have a tablet. so Would it be possible to make it so from the plex cleint in windows you can cast to a chromecast on another TV in the house?
that way they can kick a movie off on their PC to their TV without needing to buy a tablet..
I assume this would be fairly straight forward to do? and would be quite usefull..
you can currently to this with the hosted client at Plex.tv/web when that is finished it will replace the local plex/web client
the ability to cast to the Chromecast from anything is also only available to PlexPass members at the moment. it will be free to all at a later date ( but release dates are never announced)
