Chromecast immediately disconnecting from plex iOS app 9 out of 10 times

Having problems with my plex chromecast app, almost every time I try to connect to my chromecast through the plex iOS app, it immediately disconnects after connecting.

The tv shows the plex app is connecting and then it’s like the plex app on the chromecast crashes.

My wife’s phone (also iOS, but older version… 14 I think) does the same thing.

All other apps on phones can connect just fine to the chromecast… YouTube, Netflix, etc.

Any ideas?

I have video of this as well… if anyone is interested. 39 seconds long… many many attempts to get chromecast to link up… and it finally does.
