All tv shows in my Plex library saved on my NAS keep buffering when I access them on my iPad and Android devices and play through 3 different Chromecast devices on 3 different tvs. Any movies played are fine, no buffering.
I’ve saved the tv shows in the tv folder and when they did the buffering through Chromecast, I also put them in the movie folder and I can’t see them on Plex. What am I doing wrong?
movie libraries ignore files named like TV shows. since it won’t find metadata for tv shows. and vice versa
are the Tv shows transcoding and movies are not?
Not sure what TRANSCODING is. I think the issue is with Chromecast. I find can watch the TV shows on Plex with my iPad and do AIR PLAY to one of the TVs and the TV show plays without buffering. I can’t find that Chromecast needs an update in the Play Store. I haven’t tried resetting each Chromecast yet.
