Can someone in the plex community or a plex engineer answer this for me please.
- I am using the new Chromecast with Android TV and the plex app, a certain film or two in MP4 format, keeps buffering, stopping.
- I have changed every setting etc and this has not improved the situation one bit why.
- I have streamed the same movie to my dads LG smart tv and the same plex app plays the film perfectly. Why?
- I have also turned off my Chromecast and played the same file on my LG TV with plex app and it plays perfectly why?
- I have also downloaded the VLC app and the same film in question plays perfectly through that app.
- I have also tied the same film in Kodi, and it plays perfectly there as well.
Why is it after all my testing that on every other device / app plays the film the perfectly but, Plex app on Chromecast seems to struggle with certain films. I did think it use to be the Chromecast, now I think it could be the app itself on the Chromecast.
Why has this not ben fixed, why can’t you give uses the option to use different players.
