Chromecast Ultra does not allow Directplay for 4k content

I discovered a week or so ago that Directplay of 4k content is not working. Before it was working perfectly and with no changes to the Chomecast Ultra profile it will just transcode no matter what I do.

Anyone managed to fix this? Or is this something Plex will have to handle themselves?

it’s broken and Plex doesn’t seem to care…
