I have pixelation on almost every scenechange if I use Chromecast with Google. If I instead use the app on the Samsung TV I have no pixelation. There are no pixelation if scene is not changing, but some times a fast zoom, also create pixelation.
I guess it is codecs related, I have previously been fighting similar problems in Dvbviewer but here it is easy to change to another codecs. On Chromecast I have no Idea how to do that…
Both are connected to same lan, and it is of course also the same server, and in full resolution.
I prefer using the Chromecast version for two reasons:
1/ I use that for all other things…
2/ picture quality is much better on Chromecast than on Samsung. I can not explain further, but colors are not natural on Samsung, on Chromecast they are.
I have not similar problems with other apps on Chromecast with Google.
