Hy guys,
I have a problem with the Plex app on my new Chromecast with Google TV. When I bought it, it worked for some months. Then now when I try to watch even a 1080p video it is lagging, buffering, loading after 3-4 seconds. Meanwhile if I play the same video on my phone there is nothing. Not even a 1 second loading time before the play. My server is powerful enough, my network is 5G and my mobile and Google TV is on the same network. The server is not here, it is in another town but the connection is fast enough.
I tried to delete the data and cache from the plex app but did not helped.
Passthrough: disabled
Remote quality: Maximum
Adjust video quality: Off
Allow insecure connections: On same network (but this is does not matter because I only use the right now with remote streaming)
Also during the play there is no transcode or anything. It is direct play both on Google TV and on my phone.
Does anyone know something how I can make it work again? I have a lot of 4K videos so if the 1080p is not working then it will be worse if I try to play something from 4K content.
