Clients suddenly indicate that the server is offline

I have been using a Lenovo laptop for my Plex server. It has worked great … until yesterday. I can play the movies from the web app on the laptop, but when I try to access movies on my smart TV (Samsung) or iPad, they tell me the server is offline or that it is not available. I have tried everything I can think of: logging off and then back on, rebooting the computer, checking settings on the server, updating the server, etc. As far as I know, nothing has changed on the computer. Any suggestions???

I have this same problem trying to connect with either my PlayStation 3 or the Plex app on my Sony TV. Everything was fine until a couple of weeks ago, now I get the “unable to find server” message. Funny thing is that I can still connect and watch on my iPad via the Plex iOS app just fine.

I’m experiencing the same, but it started a little over an hour ago. We use Plex daily, and now this evening it suddenly remote connections aren’t working. :-/

Having the same issue over the last week for me and my other users outside the network.
