I asked this in the regular Apple TV forum but didnt realise there was a specific beta one so here goes. At the moment I’ve downloaded the latest beta and this problem still persists. Everytime i close the app the local video quality setting resets to 8Mbps 1080p when I’ve always had it set to Original 1080p. All it takes it just to switch to another app and on returning to plex on Apple TV the Video quality is reset again. Anyone else experiencing this?

Please test the latest build (3063), it should’ve fixed the issue. Let us know if it isn’t fixed.
Its fixed! Just testing the lasted build and video quality stays the same and best of all it now automatically selects surround sound in direct play! I won’t lie, really relieved this has been fixed. Binge watching just hasn’t been the same without it! Thanks so much! (Please don’t break it again…)
