Hi…
For years I’ve used Cloud Sync with various cloud storage providers and every time I have just about all the content I want in ‘the cloud’, a new update to Plex goes and screws things up. In most cases my cloud files remains as they are (ie I can play movies from google drive), but they no longer show up in my plex cloud library meaning I can’t access them easily from my devices, which kinda defeats the purpose.
More than once I’ve wiped my cloud content and set everything up again, waited weeks for my content to upload (1Mbps upload is not great here in Sydney), only to run into similar issues down the track. Currently my plex cloud sync status shows around 70 movies are ‘synced’ successfully, however only 25 show up in my Cloud Library.
How can I force plex to ‘re-scan’ what’s already in the cloud, or at least add library entries for all movies listed as ‘synced’ under status > sync > Movies?
It’s really becoming a nightmare to use this feature and I notice now there’s no longer a category for it within these forums. Is the feature just being silently dropped?
Any troubleshooting tips welcome - I’ve looked through the sync logs but nothing shows up as being immediately obvious as to the cause.
Cheers
James.
