Keep in mind that Cloud Sync cannot transcode. So make sure the device you are playing on supports the video/audio codecs you used to sync with. Also make sure your quality/bandwidth setting in the app is higher than the video.
However, I tested it remotely using both the iPhone App and also from my MacBook Pro (running OSX).
The iPhone version doesn’t throw an error message, but just crashes the entire app back to the home screen. I get the same error screen on the MacBook Pro client as shown in the above…
The file type is an MKV file and the server sync upload was 720p 4Mbps which is what I’m showing 720p 4Mbps on the MacBook Pro Plex Player.
remote, is when you are accessing from outside, there usually has to be transcoding, but as the server amazon has a high upload, there does not need, and how has no server it to trasncodificar, there you put the original, it will come from it without any conversion
This sets the quality to use when streaming content on your local network. In most cases, you can set this to a high value.
Remote Quality
When streaming content remotely, you’ll often want to set a lower quality. The quality you can reliably use is typically limited by either your download bandwidth or the upload bandwidth from the source Plex Media Server.
Online Quality
You can set the quality to use when streaming from online sources. This includes Channels and Watch Later items as well as trailers and extras automatically added to your library for Plex Pass subscribers. This is usually limited by your download bandwidth but may also be limited by the network speed of the source website.
