CODEC to FireTV and Kodi do Direct Play over local network

I’m kinda sick of searching why this version of plex is strugling to deliver content to some clients.

So I really wanna know wich is the codec FireTV and plex-for-kodi wants to enable direct play. Then I use handbrake and convert all my media to that format.

The most compatible format is:

MP4 container
Video: H.264, High@4.0 or lower, 4 reference frames or less, 1080p max, 30fps max
  Audio: AAC 2.0, 320kbps max.
  Subtitles: SRT, UTF-8
  Chapters: if desired.

If you want multi-channel audio, in addition to the AAC 2.0 audio, include an AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio track, 5.1 channels max, 640kbps or less.

The above will direct play on a 2014 Gen1 FireStick with current Plex app.
