I reported this a short while ago. The bug was acknowledged by Plex devs as “interesting” then made worse on a subsequent release.

This is a long-standing bug in multiple clients. I checked Web and Mac OS.
Visit a Collection page and use the buttons within to configure the collection to appear as a line item on the library’s Recommended page. Once you do so, all of the contents of the Collection disappear from the page you’re viewing. Solely a display issue, no unwanted Collection config changes occur. Browsing away and back shows the normal Collection content display.
Update:
Now, instead of the collection’s content disappearing from the app, the entire app’s navigation and content disappears and user is forced to Reload or Quit/Relaunch.
