Collections behavior changed

I’m on the latest server version and something has changed with regard to collections and related media.

  1. Showing other shows or movies that are part of the collection inside a show takes a long time on plex web
  2. Shows or movies that are on collections will no longer show related content
  3. Neither of these show on android tv app when the show or movie is on a collection

So this is a movie that belongs to a collection:

Are these known issues? are there any workarounds?

Related Movies have never shown if the movie is included in a collection (as long as I can remember, been using Plex for many years) I asked about it several years ago, and it’s deliberate - Plex feels the collections and related hubs would show similar items.

I have deleted all of my collections because of that. I find the “Related Movies” to be a better choice. If there’s only a couple of movies in your collection, your choice of similar movies is pretty restricted with collections.
