If movie is part of a collection, there's a long delay showing related videos

Server Version#: 4.69.1
Player Version#: Windows App, TV, and locally all affected.

When you click on a movie and scroll down, there are extra suggestions such as “more with this actor” or “related movies”. This function works perfectly for me unless the movie is part of a collection. If part of a collection, when you scroll down the “worry circle” spins for about 12-15 seconds before loading the “Collections” and other related videos.

Even if I return to the movie list and then reopen the same movie, there is the same delay. Any movies that are not in a collection load their “related videos” in less than 1 second.

When I open “collections” and browse them it runs quickly. It’s only this one specific time that there is a long delay.

Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated thanks!

I’ve tried: Refreshing all metadata/clean bundles/optimize/rebooting/empty trash, disabling antivirus, moving metadata from HDD to SSD to NVME (same problem on all).

Hardware:
Dedicated PMS: Asus z87 with i7-4790, 16gb ram, Win 10 home OS on SATA SSD, Plex metadata on NVME drive. 7 other SATA HDDs. GTX 1060 gpu, gigabit cable hardwired.

Can anyone test this and confirm or deny if you have this issue please?

guess not. thanks anyway.

I feel bad that no one has replied to you. I can absolutely confirm this, and it’s been like this forever. Doesn’t bother me too much, because I hardly ever look at collections, but see how it can be highly annoying.

SHIELD user here, btw, but this is probably universal.

Thanks for confirming it. That actually helps a lot. I’m glad it’s not a problem with my setup.

thanks again!
