I know there are tons of discussions already about this topic (I think I have read them all), but for the life of me I can’t figure this out. I am still new to Plex and this is my first attempt at Collections.
I would like a group of movies, the Jason Bourne series in this case, to group together when viewing the Movie Library, i.e all 245 of them so far. And from what I have read this is possible but I can only get the Jason Bourne collection to display when toggling the Movie library view from ‘Movies’ to ‘Collections’. It is the only item listed.
How can I get the one Jason Bourne collection to show in the main Library instead of the 5 individual movies?
In the movie library advanced settings, change the Collection parameter to Hide items which are in a collection. This will show the collection but not its content.
Your current setting (Show collections and their items) will show the collection as well as all 5 individual movies.
The Collections view is independent of that and will always show all available collections – independent of your library’s collection settings.
