Collections do not cross libraries

I was using a fire stick and the collections could cross libraries ie Star Trek movies and TV in the same collection. Today I bought an Apple TV and the collections no longer cross libraries. I look into Star Trek in the TV library and the movies are missing. I look at Star Trek in the movies and the TV shows are missing.

Edit: I just discovered the only way to make it work I press go to show from an episode and that opens up the full collection. So the ability is there it just needs the coding in more places. There has to be an easy fix for this.

I checked my fire stick and they are working correctly there.

All of my devices are up to date and the collections have the exact same name otherwise they wouldn’t work on the fire stick.

Please fix this apple app

Also can confirm this is an ongoing issue. The collections do not cross libraries in the Apple TV App like they do on the web app which is very annoying since these end user devices is where most of the media is consumed. . Also it does not show the “editions” of movies either; though this is a newer feature it should definitely also be fixed in the next rollout of the Apple TV app.

I also am having this issue. The web app works fine and shows both Movies and TV shows for Star Trek (as an example) in the Star Trek collection, whether it is the collection under TV shows or under Movies. Now in the Apple TV (where I consume most of my content) I do not see TV shows under the movie collection nor do I see the movies under the TV show collection. This used to work. What has happened and can it be fixed?
