In order to overcome Plex’s lack of cross-artist linking (other than "Similar Artists), I used Collections.
As an example, in Genesis I have created tags for “Genesis”, “Peter Gabriel”, “Phil Collins”, etc.
In “Peter Gabriel” I have added the tags “Peter Gabriel” and “Genesis”.
This enables me, when on the Peter Gabriel page, to jump straight to Genesis.
This works fine on web, and in PlexAmp, but currently on my shield TV I get (duplicated x times, where x is the total number of tags applied to that artist) the first tag’s collection repeated.
So, on PlexAmp, if I go to Peter Gabriel and I see “Peter Gabriel Collection” with “PG” & “Genesis”, and then I see “Genesis Collection” with “Genesis”, “PG”, “Phil Collins”, etc.
On SHIELD I see two identical “Peter Gabriel Collections”. And on the Genesis page I see 6 identical “Genesis Collections” (and as I also tag concert films, I get 6 “Movies In Genesis Collection” too!)
