Collections from TheMovieDB

I’m a big fan of movie collections. Star Wars. The Godfather. Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings. Die Hard. Marvel. X-Men. Robert Rodriguez. et al.

I’ve enabled Plex to use TheMovieDB as the source of all of my metadata and ancillary rich data (trailers etc). I’ve also ticked the box “Use collection info from The Movie Database”.

It then rescans. But then nothing new shows up in my Collections. I’ve checked over at TheMovieDB and they do have these collections all well built up (e.g. https://www.themoviedb.org/collection/230-the-godfather-collection?language=en-US).

I’m running the latest Plex Pass for Windows (Version 1.0.3.2461) on a Windows 7 PC with 4GB RAM, i3 processor (2 core, 4 threads, 2.9ghz) and all storage is separate (though I suspect this being such a small metadata thing, it’s probably nothing to do with the performance capabilities of my host machine).

Can you take a screenshot of your agent setup for the primary themoviedb you are using for your movie library.

also can you grab the xml for one of your movies that should be in a collection. ( let’s say starwars since i’m sure both of us have that )
