Collections Losing Movies

I’m having trouble with my collections. I have created several and got them to a certain point of completion about 1 week ago (~12/10/21). Since then I have tried several times to add movies to various collections and usually by the next day or maybe the second day, those movies have disappeared from the collection (they still show in my library). It is almost like a “Windows Restore” where you go “back in time” to a known configuration from a specific date. Is anyone else seeing this behavior? I did read an older post and did the two things it said, which were:
Uncheck the option: “Use Collection info from The Movie Database.”
Uncheck the option: “Empty Trash Automatically” in server settings.

Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks in advance.

Edit any one of the affected movies and look for the status of the padlock icon in front of the “Collection” input field. It has to be orange, i.e. “locked”.
