Hello!
I would really like to be able to sort through my movies by using collections, but it isn’t working for me! Here’s what I did:
I clicked select on the left pane, and went through and selected all the movies I want in a collection.
I clicked on the three dots at the bottom, and then clicked “add to collection”.
I then typed the name of the collection I wanted to make, then clicked “add”
NOTHING HAPPENS!!!
No collection is made… at all. I know I am doing it right, but it isn’t taking it for some reason.
After you did the above process, did you try to add another movie to that collection?
There is a pulldown that defaults to ‘add collection’ or something like that but if you click the pulldown, you will see the collections you previously added… at least that the way it works for me.
I can’t believe I haven’t looked at this since last year! I have just gone through the steps as you described (thanks for including images by the way!)
After I selected the movies and edited the tag, and clicked save changes, I went back again to check, and the tag wasn’t there! It just poofed!
Did you change to another tab after putting in the tag? They’re not actually tabs so switching forgets what you did on the previous page. Hit save on that tab before moving on to something else.
I would go do that right now, but all of a sudden my cloud server isn’t listed, and that’s where my files to be put into collections are. I’m stuck till I can figure that out, then I’ll try. Thanks!

After entering the name of the Label, hit Tab before clicking Save. See if that makes it stay.
OK, that worked! Thank you!!
I went to my laptop that my local server is on, and plex cloud shows up there, but not on my apple TV or my laptop. So strange!!
Good. Curious, though. What OS is your server on? I thought that little peccadillo of having to hit Tab first was fixed. I know it is fixed in Windows, I just tried it. Maybe it was only fixed in Windows? Maybe @“MovieFan.Plex” knows.
