How do I add movies to Collections

Recently my collections and movies started showing up alongside each other. I was confused for a bit until I figured out what was going on. I like the idea of collections for related movies like star wars, lord of the rings, bourne movies, etc. I’d like to use collections more, but unfortunately plex did a terrible job of creating the collections in the first place. For example, I have five Bourne movies, four of which start with The Bourne… something, but only two movies are included in The Bourne collection. The same goes for the hobbit and lord of the rings, only one movie from each series is included in the collection.

I would like to add the other related movies to their respective collections, and even add some collections that plex did not. I have looked, and I cannot find any option to create, add, or otherwise edit collections. I have tried right-clicking, dragging and dropping, which of course do not work.

How do I create a collection from scratch?

It’s not so much Plex “creating” those collections but information downloaded from The Movie Database (you can change this from happening in your library settings Advanced > Use Collection information from The Movie Database). To add/remove items from a collection, simply edit the item (edit: Tags > Collection).

Thanks, I just didn’t look deep enough. I didn’t realize the collections were a tag. I was looking for them to have their own tab.
