Collections should filter out movies with excluded sharing labels

Adding labels to movies work great when curating my children’s libraries. I do have a small problem with it though:
I like my own managed account clean, so I added ‘sharing labels’ on my kids’s movies, that I want to exclude. These movies are nicely removed from the Library view, but on my collection view some problems remain. For example:

I have all Star Wars movie episodes, but I don’t want to delude my nicely curated movie library with any other then eps 4, 5 and 6. I added a sharing label to eps 1,2,3,7,8,9. I then exclude that label on my managed user account. The collection ‘Star Wars’ still says it has 9 movies though. Opening the collection, only 4, 5 and 6 are shown.

A slightly bigger problem is when I exclude all movies in a collection. The collection is still listed in the Collection view, but on opening it lists no movies. In my opinion, this collection should be filtered out of the collections view.

This is a known limitation of how information on Collections is retrieved. Collections exists as their own data point so when a Collection is shown, it’s contents are not yet known. The count comes from the original entry which is the total. Only when you enter the collection are the contents retrieved and any restrictions applied.

We hope to improve this in the future, but it’s not a simple task.
