The same issue as previously reported in this thread:
To duplicate the issue, simply navigate to any Collection (Movies and TV Shows Collections behave the same way). Select an item in the Collection to view its details. Then, simply use the Back button to navigate back to the list of all items in the Collection. That’s all that is required to duplicate the issue.
Upon navigating back to the list, the view of the list will then be compromised in some way. Most often, scrolling down or up will blank half (or more) of the screen and you will not be able to see the remainder of the list… or tell which item you have selected. Fixing it requires backing all the way out to the list of Collections and then selecting the Collection again, upon which the display will be normal (until any specific item is viewed again, at which time the “bug” repeats itself).
My Rokus should be on whatever the latest version is (I’m unable to check, at the moment). Bug is more immediately noticeable if the Collection is large enough to require scrolling. The issue compounds itself, as well… meaning that if you select a 2nd media item from the (now compromised list view) and back out a 2nd time, the display issue will be worse. I can confirm that selecting Back again (from the compromised list view) will return the list display to normal, but you’ll find yourself back at the top of the list again, of course, and needing to scroll back down to wherever you were.
Note that there is an additional related issue I’ve since noticed. This one may be an edge case, but it’s nevertheless present (for me, at least). To duplicate, create a Smart Collection for “Watched” items (i.e., Unwatched is false) so every item will have a Watched flag. The Collection will need to be large enough (mine is/was 150 items) to exceed whatever the default buffer size is for the list view (i.e., the part where continuous scrolling pauses to load add’l items). At the point where that happens, the Watched flag for all subsequent items will not be shown.
Hmmm I’m not able to reproduce this issue. I have a collection of 100 titles and moving in and out to detail pages and back to the collection page doesn’t cause an issue. I also create collections on movie, show, and music libraries with the same name to populate the related collections hubs inside the collection page but still no issue with navigation after going in and out of the detail and collection pages. I’ll ask around regardless. Thanks for reporting.
My eyes must be deceiving me then (as well as the other individual who confirmed it). This is the exact same “compromised visibility” issue that was reported last time. Links to video clips of the issues being demonstrated are below. It is 100% repeatable (for me, at least).
