Most of my collections display the 4 panel poster tumbnail(s) but now, whenever I change the poster of something, the 4 panel does not reflect the changes, or there is simply no images displayed in the panel at all and it’s just a unsightly grey.
Yes, they are displaying posters and I’ve encountered that bug before. Refreshing metadata did work on those. On Mission: Impossible however, they were just added.
If I delete the cache, how will it affect my library?
Okay, not 100% sure what you mean by test library but I moved all my 4K movies (including Mission: Impossible) to a new folder and added that folder to my movies on PMS. It reloaded all fresh metadata like it was brand new and… still had a blank collection folder! haha! This is driving me crazy.
And by the way, it seems there are no new collection posters being created. I added a few new films and their auto created collection was blank as well.
I did everything, no dice. What kind of settings can I change in my router? I mean, my friends use my Plex account fairly often without trouble. As far as the message goes, where would a message even be?
DSM firewall was already off. Plex already had full control and I enabled the folder, sub-folder etc setting, twice. I gave Plex Read/Write advanced permissions. I deleted the collection, cleaned and optimized, reset Plex, reset the NAS even. Nothing.
In a fit of frustrated rage, I added two unrelated movies together into a collection. It worked.
Go to Mission Impossible or Police Story. Nope.
I feel like Plex must not like or can’t get to the posters of these movies, while it seemingly can for movies I have had longer? I don’t know. I’m starting to get really pissed off.
What happens if you edit the poster on the collection - I have seen something similar. When you edit, for me it then updates but you need to save the change ?
